CONSUMED. by avaris
Some men make fortunes, but not to enjoy them; for, consumed by avarice, they live to make fortunes

"Know thyself - some Greek said that"

[edited 12.40 p.m., 1 April 2005]: The origin of the quote has been discovered. No more free ice cream XD I'm actually quite pissed by how it was discovered, but never mind. I suppose it's only fair.
Suddenly, I have a burning question in my head that won't go away. It is this: When people read my blog, and they don't know me at all, would they think the writer was a guy or a girl? I suspect the latter XD. Don't really know why, but I think I write like a girl. Especially when I write about Gundam SEED Destiny. I should add a self-intro section that explicitly states I'm a guy mwahaha.

Comments, anyone? Don't have to think about sparing my feelings on this one, heh.

I felt so bad today when I turned away this auntie who came to my door asking me to buy Yakult, because she was just trying to make an honest decent living going door to door to sell drinks, and it must be so tough for her, and I didn't even buy anything from her. On the other hand, I was alone at home and all I had in my wallet was a fifty dollar note. I still feel awful. I wish I could go back in time and buy a pack of bottles from her. Sigh.

My mom wants to go work, and I asked her who will wake me up in the morning and make wonderful breakfast for me if she goes to work, and who will pick my clothes out and wave to me as I walk down the corridor and look back at her. And I'm really worried because of her poor health and everything that working will be really bad for her, but she refuses to listen. She's awfully stubborn, my mom is, that's where I get my stubborn-ness from. Not to mention she spoils me like crazy, and I can't imagine life without her to spoil me. Gosh, I'm such a spoilt brat. Yes, hate me, ~kthxbai.

I can't believe they are going to raise movie ticket prices again. Even as they are now, the tickets are already so expensive. Don't compare them with the prices overseas, I beg of you. We are Singapore. (Ack sounds like a bad National Day song. Oh wait it is a bad National Day song. XD) And it's real stupid because only Cathay isn't changing their prices, so everyone will go to Cathay and watch movies and GV and Eng Wah and Shaw will die. Die die die. Well maybe not, because almost no one is as stingy as I am when it comes to movie prices. Not when I think of watching so many movies all the time. But usually I don't watch a lot, because of the prices.

Woe I really need to go back and study, because I'm going to end up watching The O.C. later and I haven't done Helminths. D:
